Portrait Subject – Panama: Rossana Castrellon

Nivia Rossana Castrellon is the 3rd portrait subject in the Global Women Project.  She is the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, the President of Union Nacional de Centros Educativos Particulares (National Association of Private Schools), and an international trade and market management attorney (ex: Harvard Law). Nivia is an innovative leader in Panamanian education heading local and international efforts to enhance the quality of education, especially for the underprivileged. She has been instrumental in trying to bring the culture of lawfulness education to Panamanian schools and is currently lobbying for free K-12 education throughout her country.
